A new introduction thread as the original was becoming so long.

ok i start us off

Hi My name is Caroline Bowman and I am 22 year old from Nottinghamshire in England. i live at home with my mum and step dad dave!

my sister has a little boy called cameron it really kool when he come around to our house he so funny at this age he is 2 just after chismas

i love sufing the net coming on this site and playing games love the bopit!!!!

i am writing a story to put on http://www.asbah.org/default.html

to tell other people about my prolim and we can share what we can still do adn things like that if kyou like look at there site do so!
I have had a disability all my life. I am visually impaired, blind in my right eye,

my visual diffinculties are.

severely reduced distance vision
reduced near vision
Monocular vison (vision in one eye only
photophobia sensitvity to bright lights
no vision after dark!

distance vision
wearing glasses 6/24
without glass 1/24 at (1 metre)
with glasses and monocular telescopic aid 6/5

my eye condions are

i have retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) from birth so that why i have these eye condisions and when you are born with rop you will get cataracts
RetinalDetachment
and i could get glaucoma). as well 2 of the eye condion i have dry eye and cataract have come over the last 6years.

i have had RetinalDetachment all my life! and also I have hydrocephalus (water on the brain)

I also have a slight learning disability.
i find it hard to understand what people say and write down sometimes
reading is hard for me writeing and grammer and spelling and puncher as well.

I also have very bad migraines

the doctors say I have epilepsy. Nocturnal seizures!!

Caz, As nice as it is to know your life history again, I dont think the idea of doing a #2 on this was so that everyone could write their intro`s all again Otherwise it defeats the point of this post again. Cos its you though we`ll make an exception

Im Kat

I dont think Ive done an intro...

Most ppl know me anyway...

Im 27 and I come from Sunny Yorkshire!!!

I have had epilepsy at the age of 5 when I started with it having 2 brain absesses removed. The ops, meds and scaring on my brain caused me to have fits, I remained on meds for 2 years and then was okay. Had to learn to write and walk again @ 5 - but as I was so young I cant remember all this. Appartently all I wanted was to eat boiled eggs and play in the snow

Started with epilepsy again at the age of 18, whilst on hol with a fit lasting just over 45 mins.

I have 95% of them in my sleep and have then quite infreqently. About 12-18 mths apart. Take Teg Retard and have tried Keppra and Lamotragine with no sucess.

If I had to describe myself In one paragraphy I would say that im very outgoing and get on with most ppl and love to have a laugh, like spending time with my friends and loved ones, and listening to music. I have the memory of a goldfish and the heart of an angel

Im a part time docs receptionist and I own a cat called Guinness (yes hes black and white )

And that me!

I'm Sheila 37 from Scotland, have TLE and a brain tumour (meningioma).
Am on teg ret,keppra,clobazam.

Used to be a nurse,but havent worked since tumour was diagnosed.

Have an 11 yr old called Chloe.

Have been missing for a while but am back,and am glad to have found here!
